An ideal setting for the superb national collection devoted to rural life, this museum is one of four sections of the National Museum of Ireland. The excellent exhibitions provide details on all aspects of daily life in the Irish countryside in a lively and informative manner, resisting the temptation to indulge in the usual romantic clichés.
