The Michelin Guide's review
Created in memory of a legendary Norse hero, the 11C Sigurd stone, located on a rocky outcrop, illustrates some of the dramatic episodes from the epic poem, the Song of the Nibelungs. One of the scenes shows how the hero Sigurd succeeded in slaying the dragon Fafnir, whose body is covered with runes.
