Occupying a 36-acre estate overlooking the Housatonic River Valley, the immensely popular Norman Rockwell Museum is the repository of the largest collection of original works by America's premier 20C illustrator. The core collection comprises Rockwell's personal affairs. The museum also stages temporary exhibits focusing on the work and life of Rockwell and, more broadly, on the art of illustration.
