This cultural centre houses the Niland Collection which comprises some 200 works by Jack Yeats, as well as works by other modern Irish artists such as George Russell, Maurice McGonigal, Norah McGuinness and Augustus John. The Model is also home to artists' studios, exhibition areas, a theatre, a library and a cafe-restaurant. It is the venue for many of the town's renowned festivals.
