Cathedral

Well worth the diversions
Religious monument
The Michelin Guide's review
Built from 1755 to 1767 on the site of a 14C Gothic edifice, the cathedral is striking for its simple exterior that contrasts with the rich interior. This masterpiece of the "Vorarlberg school" unfolds around a central cupola, which spans a rotunda in the centre of the immense nave. The chancel, enclosed by beautiful railings, is adorned with a master altar made in 1810 in the Empire style.
