This zoo is home to more than 2,000 animals and its main attraction, Oceanium, is the kingdom of sealions, sharks, turtles, penguins etc. It is difficult to believe you are in Netherlands when you enter the stifling, humid climate of "Taman Indah" (tropical forest). Other highlights include the gorilla island, polar bear enclosure and a bat cave. In the large Rivierahal there are aquariums, a terrarium (reptiles and amphibians), a tropical greenhouse and aviaries.
