The Michelin Guide's review
South of the Collachium is the working-class district of Rhodes. Before entering the narrow streets, climb up the Clock Tower, built in 1851, which provides a beautiful view of the old town. From the square, Platía Ipokrátous, with its Turkish fountain, Odós Aristotélous leads to another square Platía Evréon Martiron, which also has a pretty fountain, decorated with seahorses. All around, it is a maze of little streets, in which you need not worry about getting lost. This is where its charm is to be found, in its shaded alleyways and the dazzling light of its little squares.
