The Michelin Guide's review
This is the part of the old town that escaped the great fire of 1720. It still has several houses with corbelled storeys dating from the 15C and 16C, as well as mansions with sculpted façades, and little cobbled streets. If you want to explore, head to rue St-Sauveur, rue St-Guillaume (Maison Ti Koz), rue de la Psalette, rue du Chapitre (Hôtel de Brie and Hôtel de Blossac) and finally rue St-Yves and rue des Dames (Hôtel Freslon de la Freslonnière).
