The Michelin Guide's review
A thousand years of Greek and Roman sculpture are gathered in this edifice. The rarity of Greek statues makes the original marble sculptures present even more exceptional, including the smiling Apollo of Tenea (6C BCE) and the Barberini Faun (around 220 BCE). Also look out for other treasures of the collection such as the bas-relief by Mnesarete and the Aegina statues, made out of Paros marble and illustrating the Trojan War.
