Près-la-Rose Park lies on a 10ha peninsula between the river and canal, near the old centre. It is dotted with sculptures, some of which are quite eye-catching: Le Vaisseau d'Archipel, Fontaine Galilée. Le Pavillon des Sciences is home to a science centre offering an initiation to technical and scientific culture, for all age groups.
