Meo Microwave
Michelin Guide
City and village
The Michelin Guide's review
This modest Hmong hamlet owes its unusual (and not very local!) name to the television relay station built on the hill which overlooks it. Visitors are unlikely to spend too much time in this village, where the locals have a hard life attempting to grow crops on the steep mountain slopes. Some of the children still wear traditional dress: pleated skirts and embroidered tops for the girls, and indigo trousers for the boys.
