The Michelin Guide's review
Now set up in an emblematic building (1975) by architect André Jacqmain, the Musée L (formerly the Musée de Louvain-la-Neuve) is laid out over 3 500m2. Its mission is to showcase the university's rich collections, which include Egyptian, Greek and Roman antiquities, sculptures and masks representing African and Oceanic primitive art, religious art (including a 16C Christ on Palm Sunday) and porcelain, drawings by Picasso and Delvaux paintings.
