This is one of the town's oldest streets. Facing you, the medieval house at n° 212 is famous as the place where Mata Hari lived from 1883 to 1889. At n° 43, admire the attractive stone façade featuring a lion and a castle, then at n° 17, near the corner with Doelestraat, a pretty Baroque doorway decorated with garlands in the Friesian style.
