The Michelin Guide's review
Fruška Gora is a mountainous massif and a national park, located between the Sava River and the Danube. In its dense forests 200 species of rare birds and mammals have found refuge, as well as a wide variety of plants. The massif is known for its wine, and is home to 16 Orthodox monasteries. The most important and most famous is the Krušedol Monastery. But don't miss the other monasteries, Grgeteg, Staro Hopovo, Novo Hopovo and Vrdnik, all worth a visit.
