This lake, in the city that bears the same name, may be just 25mi long, and 1mi to 3mi wide, but it has more than 109mi of shoreline for locals and vacationers to explore. Boaters, fishermen, jet-skiers and others take advantage of this centralized recreation spot. The lake is fed by two rivers, Coeur d'Alene River and Saint Joe River.
