The Michelin Guide's review
The origins of the University of Illinois in Chicago go back to 1859, when its first pharmacology module was taught, followed by other disciplines. After the Second World War, in the face of a continuing demand for a public university, a complex designed by Walter Netsch was inaugurated in the city in 1965. Today reorganised and extended, the UIC campus, complete with a student residence, is a lively living space.
