The Michelin Guide's review
The Douix spring is sited in a lovely spot, at the foot of a rocky escarpment some 30m high and carpeted by greenery. It is a Vaucluse spring, meaning that its waters have filtered through the limestone plateau before emerging here. Its usual flow rate is 600 litres per second, but this can increase fivefold during winter floods. The water bubbles upwards before emerging in the shade of lovely chestnut trees. Fine view of valley from the pathway laid out along the rocky platform.
