Over 2 000 multi-coloured birds of 150 different species (including silkie hens, blue-winged or red-breasted parakeets, sea eagles, African sacred ibises) squawk in cages set in magnificent tropical vegetation. Despite attempts to recreate the birds' natural habitat, it is unfortunately not possible to ignore the cement of these huge aviaries. There are also a few mammals from Africa, Australia and Indian Ocean islands.
