This superb collection of 20C art is displayed in a house boasting numerous books that visitors can read sitting down on the comfortable chairs provided. The collection includes works by Ben Nicholson, Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth, Eric Gill, Henri Gaudier-Brzeska and Joan Miró. Following two years of construction work, a new wing now houses an educational centre as well as rooms devoted to temporary exhibitions and a pleasant café.
