Colombia's finest zoo is home to 180 native species (around 1 200 animals). Footpaths lead visitors through ponds and copses to the enclosures, which are grouped into eight main categories: insects, aquatic species, birds, primates, reptiles, butterflies, amphibians and tortoises.
