The Michelin Guide's review
Budapest's City Hall is a pink structure built following plans drawn up by the Austrian architect Martinelli during the Late Baroque period (after 1710), although it is more typically early Baroque in style. Once a hospital for soldiers, the building has simple volumes, with rooms and halls running off large vaulted corridors.
