The perfect place for a romantic stroll, skating or boating on the lake. Bucharest's oldest park (19C), heaven for lovers, is spread over 16ha/40 acres at the heart of the city. The locals are very fond of it, reminiscent as it is of a bygone era and of past classical Romanian writers, the busts of whom are dotted throughout the park.
