Opposite the castle, on the other bank of the Penfeld, this tower dominates the arsenal. The ancient walled town of Quilbignon, built in the 14C, today houses the Musée du Vieux Brest. This museum is dedicated to the ancient city, so little of which survived WWII: coats of arms, maps of the town, slide shows and scale models.
