The main tourist attraction of the Route de la Traversée, this zoo in the middle of the rainforest gives a first insight into the forest thanks to the explanations - very well done - along the route. Emphasis is placed on local fauna and flora (Lesser Antillean iguanas, raccoons) and endangered species such as Toco toucans, spider monkeys and Aldabra giant tortoises. Visitors can also walk above the tree canopy on 30m-high rope bridges. A memorable experience!
