Museum
The Michelin Guide's review
The museum's collections are housed in an attractive group of historic buildings. The archaeology section focuses mainly on items discovered in the famous hunebedden but also in the local peat bogs. Note the dugout canoe (8040-7517 BC) and the mummies, including the famous strangled Yde girl (Iron Age). The museum is also home to a large collection of decorative art (furniture, silverware, ceramics), paintings and objets d'art dating from the early 20C (Art Nouveau and Art Deco).
