This garden was created in the 17C at the request of the doctors and pharmacists of Amsterdam, who wanted to propagate the medicinal plants brought back by the India Company. Today, despite its small size, the garden is home to over 4 000 plants which can be admired along the pathways, in the palm grove and in the attractive "House of three climates".
