The sculptor Ivan Meštrovic lived and worked in this group of 17C and 18C houses between 1922 and 1942. It's easy to imagine how the houses, with their woodwork, peristyle, garden and furniture designed by the artist, were a source of inspiration. Today, it is home to over 120 sculptures, created in the period leading up to his departure for the United States.
