The Michelin Guide's review
The restored SS Klondike, built in 1937, was one of approximately 200 paddle steamboats that ferried passengers, ore and goods up and down the Yukon from Whitehorse to Dawson City. The 700km voyage to Dawson took 40hr and required 32 cords of wood, while the return trip against the current took 96 hours and burned 112 cords.
