Santa María la Blanca Cathedral, Tudela

Well worth the diversions
Religious monument
The Michelin Guide's review
Built in the 12C-13C, the Catedral de Santa María la Blanca is an excellent example of transitional Romanesque-Gothic architecture. The Puerta del Juicio features some 120 groups of figures illustrating the Last Judgment. Inside, the Chapel of Our Lady of Hope contains several 15C masterpieces. One of the chapels in the apse to the left houses the very fine Santa Catalina altarpiece. The 12C-13C cloister is also particularly harmonious in style.
