This is where part of the famous Mapungubwe treasure is on display, the remains of a 13C civilisation discovered in Limpopo Province. It contains everyday objects and some exceptionally refined jewellery, including a superb 15.2cm rhinoceros in gold leaf, a piece that is unique in the world.
