Today, this 17C palace is a convent for an enclosed order of nuns; it is possible to visit the patio with two floors of semi-circular arcades and a very fine staircase with four flights. The tall granite façade is decorated in a transitional style between Classical and Baroque and has a corner window surmounted by a two-headed eagle, the coat of arms of the Vargas family.
