Located in Gros Morne National Park, Western Brook Pond is a spectacular gorge that forms a deep gash in the Long Range Mountains and holds this majestic lake or pond. It is surrounded by almost vertical granite cliffs (600m) dotted with superb waterfalls. A path crosses the marshy coastal plain and leads to the landing stage on the lakeside.
