Santo Domingo de la Calzada Cathedral is Gothic except for the Romanesque ambulatory and chapel. In the right transept is the tomb of St Dominic, a retable by Damian Forment and a few remarkable chapels. However the most interesting part is the chancel: sculpted pilasters, capitals bearing symbols of the Four Evangelists, surrounded by angels holding the attributes of the Passion.
