Grace Cathedral
Michelin Guide
Religious monument
The Michelin Guide's review
The architects of Grace Cathedral were clearly inspired by France's Notre Dame Cathedral. Construction began in 1929 but didn't finish until 1964 for financial and technical reasons. Inside note the stained glass and murals, in which the traditional saints have been replaced by more modern-day characters such as Roosevelt, Einstein and astronaut John Glenn! Don't miss the handsome late-15C sculpted altarpiece from Flanders.
