The Michelin Guide's review
The arcades of these houses make for a picturesque walk. The Bath Pavilion (1804) has a ferruginous source. The Corn Exchange (1802), which was formerly a theatre, has doric columns and on its roof, Ceres, goddess of the harvest. The music gallery is a reminder of former elegance of the town. The Union Pavilion (1969, by Michel Levell), at one of the ends of the Pantiles, is a model success of the marriage between the classic and the modern.
