Dunluce Castle
Michelin Guide
Well worth the diversions
Civil and military monument
The Michelin Guide's review
Few views are as romantic as that of the rugged ruins of Dunluce Castle standing on an isolated rocky outcrop 30m/100ft above the sea. First a fortified castle, it became a luxurious residence in the 17C, until it was abandoned when its kitchens collapsed into the sea! During the visit, you will be able to enjoy superb views of the sea and coast. Part of the castle was built using stones from the Giant's Causeway.
