Devoted to shipbuilding, the island's main source of revenue in the 19C, this park occupies a formerly thriving shipyard. Yeo House, built in 1865 by the owner of the shipyard, is a large Victorian edifice topped with a skylight, whose restoration provides an insight into the lifestyle of a wealthy family of the era. Maps, photographs and tools displayed in the visitor centre illustrate shipbuilding techniques in the 19C.
