Poppi Castle (14C) bears more than a passing resemblance to Florence's Palazzo Vecchio. The numerous coats of arms lining the walls of the inner courtyard allude to the building's turbulent past. You can visit the library, the Great Hall with its ceiling decorated with paintings, and the chapel adorned with frescoes by Taddeo Gaddi. From the top of the tower there is an exceptional view over the Valderno and the mountains of Camaldoli.
