The Michelin Guide's review
Standing alongside the Arno, this white, light church sculpted with spires, gables, pinnacles, niches and rose windows was once said to house a thorn from Christ's crown. Originally built at river level and then rebuilt brick by brick on its current site in 1871, following damage caused by the proximity of the water, the church is a charming picture of harmony and simplicity.
