The Ecomusée de la Bresse Bourguignonne, housed in the central wing of the 17C Château de Pierre-de-Bresse, enjoys a magnificent setting. The staircase in the hall (fine wrought-iron banisters) and two restored rooms from the 18C and 19C recall the original décor. Laid out on three levels, the museum presents the natural environment, history, traditional lifestyle and current economy of Burgundy. In addition, the museum has various annexes illustrating activities or traditions of the Bresse area.
