Every aspect of the animal world, including the themes of hunting myths and legends, its traditions and practices, and the development of firearms, is highlighted here via paintings of animals, stuffed animals from North Africa, the Americas and Asia, and a collection of weapons and crossbows. This museum housed in the Hôtel de Guénégaud and Hôtel de Mongelas also displays a number of contemporary works.
