The Michelin Guide's review
Lying 8km off the coast of Manado, Bunaken National Park (75 000ha) encompasses five islands - Bunaken, Siladen, Manado Tua, Montehage and Nain - lined by mangrove and magnificent coral reefs. Skates, tortoises, barracudas, humphead wrasse, dolphins and sharks inhabit its warm, clear waters, and the diversity of the corals have made the place a renowned diving site. No fewer than some twenty spots to discover!
