Housed in a completely restored 17C monastery, the collection at this museum was accumulated by Amedeo Lia, who amassed over 1 100 works over his lifetime. The works date from Roman times to the 18C and are displayed according to theme: exhibits include major sections on ivory, enamels, medieval crosses, a beautiful series of illuminated manuscripts, and numerous paintings.
