The Michelin Guide's review
Worship took place in several rooms at Knossós. Decorated with frescoes depicting griffins, the Throne Room leads to a lustral basin intended for purification, while ritual ceremonies were held in the Pillar crypts. Next door is the treasure, under which the famous Snake Goddesses were found, now on display in the museum in Herakleion.
