Just north of University Park, the Classical-style Memorial Building stands in the centre of the Indiana World War Memorial Plaza. Its south steps are graced by an 8m-high bronze Pro Patria (1929, Henry Hering). Inside the building is the awe-inspiring Shrine Room; the lower concourse houses a military museum.
