The Michelin Guide's review
The River and Rowing Museum occupies a very pretty building partly made of shingle. It covers three subjects: the development of boating, from Greek triremes to modern competitive boats; the flora and fauna of the Thames, a river acting as a means of communication as well as a magnet for leisure activities; and the history of Henley-on-Thames and the Henley royal regattas, famous the world over.
