The Michelin Guide's review
An avenue of mango trees leads from the Ho Chi Minh museum to Ho Chi Minh's stilt house, in which he lived and worked from 1958 to 1968. Its simple style provides a strong contrast with the stuccoed splendour of the neighbouring palace. On the ground floor, behind windows protected by simple blinds, Ho Chi Minh held his war councils around a large conference table. His bedroom and office are situated upstairs.
