The Michelin Guide's review
Located on the site of a former shipyard, at the confluence point of the River Clyde and River Kelvin, this museum opened in June 2011 and is one of the city's most spectacular attractions. Replacing the old Museum of Transport at Kelvin Hall, it houses an exceptional collection of objects and equipment related to transportation. Family-oriented and playful, it is suitable for visitors of all ages, especially chidren, who will find plenty of scope for fun here, including opportunities to put out a tenement fire and drive a locomotive.
