Kinsol Trestle
Michelin Guide
Well worth the diversions
Civil and military monument
The Michelin Guide's review
This former timber rail trestle was built in 1920 and completely restored in 2011. It stands proud 187m above the Koksilah River, known for its salmon, and offers unique photo opportunities thanks to the subtle plays of light and shadow created by its marvellous wooden structure. Where once steam locomotives hauled logging trains, cyclists, hikers, horse riders and local walkers now roam the countryside.
