The Michelin Guide's review
San Sebastián is renowned for its scallop-shaped bay, known as "La Concha". Partially enclosed by the islet of Santa Clara, it extends between Monte Urgull and Monte Igueldo. Its two perfectly rounded sandy beaches, La Concha, and beyond the promontory, the fashionable Ondarreta, provide the setting for pleasant strolls along the beach and its luxurious seafront. Beyond the beach, at the foot of Monte Igueldo, admire the Peine de los Vientos, a work by sculptor Eduardo Chillida.
